NCSS announces the appointment of Dr. Ann N. Bonitatibus as the next Executive Director of the National Consortium of STEM Schools.

Ann’s selection comes after a lengthy and thorough search process conducted by the board. Throughout this search, NCSS received over 40 applications from exceptional candidates across the country. Ann distinguished herself through her extraordinary leadership experience, vision, and lifelong commitment to STEM education.

NCSS is particularly proud and honored to welcome Ann back into our community. As a former President of the NCSS Board, Superintendent of Conejo Valley Unified School District in California, Chief Operating Officer of Frederick County Public Schools in Maryland, and Principal of Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Northern Virginia, she brings deep expertise and a proven track record in advanced STEM education. Throughout her career, she has consistently demonstrated an ability to innovate, empower educators, and expand opportunities for students.
